LEARN TO KNIT LIKE A PRO IN NO TIME
Individualised knitting workshops accommodating up to 6 people per class. Pick any - or all workshops to suit your needs.
My workshops are designed for those who have never knitted before, to those who would like to add to their knitting repertoire.
We will cover issues such as:
- Getting comfortable with your needles and yarn. ‘How can I hold my knitting needles in a way that is comfortable for me?’
- Casting on and off using various methods
- Learn to knit and purl
- Reading patterns
- Keeping edges neat
- Increases and decreases
- Cables
- Intarsia
- Knitting in the round
and MUCH more!
An informal and friendly ‘stitch-and-bitch’ get-together where you can relax, create and simply be YOU-Niqu

WHO ARE THE WORKSHOPS DESIGNED FOR?
ANYBODY who would like to learn to knit or who would like to ad to their existing knitting repertoire.
It is never too early or too late to learn this artform. Any age, race, belief, gender, and anything else I’ve left out. If you want to learn to knit and you have two hands, you are most welcome!

My home will be the main venue – I’m in Narre warren South. I will send you my address once you've booked your seat.

WHAT WILL I NEED?
You can purchase your knitting supplies from any store, such as Lincraft, Spotlight and even K-Mart or
You can purchase supplies from me.
You will need:
- Knitting needles
- Wool
- A pair of small scissors
- A wool (darning) needle
Specified needle sizes and wool amounts will be send to you in a confirmation e-mail.
WHAT WILL IT COST?
- 40-00 per person per class. (2 hours)
- Private sessions: $30-00 per person per hour
Workshops run for 2 hours.
Private sessions are one-on-one and can be done before or after a workshop. Please arrange with me in a timely manner to avoid disappointments. I will need at least 1-2 days in which I can make the necessary preparations.
HOW DO I PAY?
- Cash or Direct debit
I do not blame anybody for being a bit cautious about this and therefore you are not expected to pay before you had a good ole chin-wag with me, booked a class and then received a confirmation e-mail from me. I will provide my banking details on the confirmation e-mail. As soon as I’ve received your payment, you will receive another email with my address on it.
REFUNDS?
Should you want to cancel a workshop, you will have to do so at least the night before the class.
Cancellations 6 hours or less prior to the workshops will NOT be refunded as I’ve already sacrificed time and effort to ensure a positive and worthy experience just for you.
Cancelling on such short notice also means that the opportunity for someone else who may have wanted to attend, is lost.
